You may recognize the author Roy Clark as the co-host of the popular television show Hee-Haw, who regularly brought his knowledge of folk and country music into our living rooms. The delightful collection of children's songs in this book features 3 easy ways to play:

	Melody Notes and Song Lyrics
	Guitar Chords
	Guitar Tablature notation. This is a special G-line staff that gives suggested fingering for all notes.

The melody notes can be played on piano or any "C" instrument such as flute, violin, harmonica, pennywhistle or recorder.

In addition to the music, this book also includes charming drawings by illustrator Michael Carey, which accompany some of the songs. Children will love playing along while they see the lyrics in animation. And, they can have a lot of fun coloring the drawings, too.
